Studios have been competing all season long and now it's their time to take the competition experience to the next level, surrounded by dancers from all over our beautiful country coming together to be inspired, motivated and challenged to achieve new goals to compete at the national level. 


 The directors have been and are Dancers, Dance Teachers, Studio Owners, Adjudicators, Mothers, and Competition Owners.  They know exactly what to deliver on every level!  The CDF Team are brought together by popular demand.  They are personable, dedicated and thrilled to be hosting a dazzling final for you in 2023.  This dance final is for the dancers to be proud, motivated, and most importantly have fun with friends and family. CDF is composed of dancers who have competed this past season in Canada and have a passion for dance to perform, learn and grow in a convention/competition week. CDF will deliver a dance final for you in Niagara Falls and will keep you coming back.  


Canadian Dance Finals will set the stage for your studio to have an amazing summer finals experience that will end your season of dance on a high note.  Events will include inspiring performances, a friendly Meet and Greet, talented national competition, professional and thoughtful Convention classes, and you won’t want to miss the experience the Title Soloist Championship, to finish the competition the CDF Dance-off will be full of energy & then celebrate the amazing week with your new friends, colleagues and competitors at the Red Carpet Awards Gala.


 This will be a casual affair to kick off and celebrate finals week.  CDF Meet and Greet is exclusively for teachers and directors to sign in and mix and mingle with colleagues.  To compete and do your personal best and at the same time appreciate each others art forms is the atmosphere you will be part of at CDF.



Leave your mark on the stage with your solo, intermittent interviews, classes, improv and photo will be essential to join.  To qualify for this category you must attain a mark of 92 from any competition you have attended in Canada.  

  • One outstanding solo with a mark 92 or higher.  

  • Dancers will be required to submit a digital copy of their headshot that will be featured in the program.  

  • Various interviews will take place throughout the week.  

  • A set time will be provided for contestants to be part of an improv session on stage.  

  • Lastly, dancers will have the honor attend classes to learn the routine for the GALA that they will showcase to close the first annual CDF.




CDF will bring exceptional people to teach at the convention to electrify your dancers, stimulating, educating and challenging them. The convention is an optional experience, but has limited space and when it is full no further wrist bands will be sold.  





This is a spectacular way to end the Competitive Portion of the finals.  It is a must to attend in person as these routines have already made their mark and will be performing full out in hope of becoming the 2024 Champions!  This showcase will host the two divisions; 12 and under and 13 and over.  Each studios top scoring routine in each division!  PLUS there will e the Judges Choice Wild Card that will be entered into the Dance Off.



 Dancers and all attendees will be required to wear a semi formal attire.  CDF will embrace the Walk on the Red Carpet in style to the Gala where we celebrate with entertainment from special guests and the title contestants and winners.  It will also host the Overall Awards Presentation, the Crowning of the 2023 Title Soloist Champions, and much more.  It is the perfect way to end the Finals and celebrate together.  Dancers in the Pageant will perform their opening and closing routines as part of the Gala! 


Attend any Canadian Competition and you qualify to participate in Canadian Dance Finals!  We have incredible studios in our country and invite studios to join CDF for 2024 on July 2-6 in Niagara Falls.  


*To compete independently your registration must be submitted through your studio.* 

Judges Panel:  The adjudicators are professionals and in genres that reflect the event and they will provide critiques for dancers for their personal growth in the studio.
